By accessing or using Yummy Dish Diary, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app, website, or related services.

Yummy Dish Diary is a personal food memory and social posting app for saving meals, photos, ratings, notes, restaurants, favorites, profile details, public posts, comments, replies, and related food diary details.

The service is for personal organization and entertainment. It does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, allergy, or professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on your diary entries, restaurant information, recipes, public posts, aggregate recommendations, or share pages.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yummy Dish Diary. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for users, us, or the service.

You keep ownership of the meal entries, photos, notes, ratings, restaurant details, posts, comments, replies, profile information, reports, feedback, and other content you submit to Yummy Dish Diary.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, copy, display, process, transmit, back up, and modify your content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service, including automated safety review, AI-assisted moderation, data export, account deletion, and troubleshooting. If you choose to share content publicly, with other users, or through a private share link, you also authorize us to display that content to the audience you selected, including through public web share pages when a public-profile post is published.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to upload or share it.

You may be able to create a profile, claim a handle, upload profile images, publish meal posts, comment on or reply to posts, follow other users, approve followers, react to posts or comments, report content, block users, or receive in-app social activity notices. You are responsible for the information you make public or share with other users.

Public posts, related public comments and replies, and public-profile share pages may be visible outside the app. Published posts may include meal, restaurant, photo, rating, caption, tag, category, price, and currency details you choose to save or share. Private-profile posts and related comment threads are intended for you and approved followers, but no online sharing feature can guarantee that recipients will not copy, save, or further share what they can see.

Recommendations, discovery feeds, ranking reasons, and aggregate public-post stats may be generated from content, activity, safety, and quality signals. They are informational product features, may change over time, and are not guaranteed to be complete, neutral, or available for every post or user.

Push notifications and in-app activity notices are optional service features. You can manage push notification choices in the app and in your device settings. We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered, arrive on time, or remain available.

We may use automated moderation, administrative review, user reports, and safety signals to review public, publishable, comment, reply, report, profile, image, private-share, and private diary content. We may reject, hide, remove, or limit content, including reported posts, comments, and replies; restrict publishing or commenting; suspend accounts; block access; preserve limited audit records; or take other reasonable action when needed to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
• Upload content that violates someone else’s rights, privacy, or publicity.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead other users.
• Publish private, sensitive, or identifying information about another person without permission.
• Post comments or replies that harass, spam, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or intentionally disrupt another user or conversation.
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, data, or features without authorization.
• Interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Upload malware or use the service to distribute spam or unwanted messages.

Your use of the app may also be subject to Apple’s App Store terms, device settings, sign-in provider terms, maps, restaurants, recipe websites, Firebase and Google Cloud services, OpenAI moderation services, cloud hosting providers, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, policies, or availability.

If we offer paid features, subscriptions, trials, or in-app purchases, the price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown at purchase. Purchases made through Apple are managed by Apple and may be subject to Apple’s refund and cancellation rules.

If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. You are not required to provide feedback.

The app may offer data export and account deletion controls. Exports, deletion requests, and related download links or audit records are processed through backend systems and may take time to complete. Account deletion removes the main user account graph and uploaded user files where supported, but limited records may remain when needed for legal, safety, security, fraud-prevention, audit, or operational reasons.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We will try to avoid disrupting your use unnecessarily, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that diary, restaurant, recipe, or post information will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yummy Dish Diary and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to your use of the service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yummy Dish Diary and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the service after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.
